How to read findings

KEV and EPSS in plain language

CVSS says how bad it is in theory. KEV and EPSS are closer to “is this flaw already used in attacks?” — plus whether the service is open on your perimeter.

CISA KEV

A catalogue of vulnerabilities already used in attacks. KEV membership is a strong reason to raise priority if the asset is on your perimeter.

EPSS

Probability of exploitation in the near term. High EPSS on an exposed service beats a “pretty nine” CVSS on a closed internal host.

Public exploit

A soft signal (e.g. Metasploit module): does not replace KEV, but keeps risk from sinking in the middle of the queue.

Match your stack in signalfort. Current write-ups: PHP2Shell, NGINX Rift, OpenSSL CVE-2026-45447.
